Fantastic New Developments from Draycir

For those of you who visited or read about the recent Sage Summit UK event in London, you will be aware that our good friends at Draycir “went big” with a massively impressive stand and presence (not sure about the bright red polo shirts guys but you definitely stood out!) in support of several new products they are in the process of bringing to market.
Last week Draycir visited our offices to run through the new developments in a bit more detail.

Here are some headlines of what’s coming:

• New Self Service Module – A web based portal which can be used by customers or internal staff. As you would expect, this provides web views of Sage 200 ledger data with the option for clients (or staff) to view documents created in Spindle or Stored in Spindle Document Capture. What you probably wouldn’t expect is a whole load of new Sales Order Processing functionalities and Stock enquiries. This looks to be a great module, at last bringing the long requested self-service functionality to the Sage 200 user base.
• Intelligent Document Recognition (IDR) – This was always likely to be the next step for Spindle Document Capture and now it’s nearly here. This module will allow the user to scan a document and auto-file it to Sage 200 based on the content of the document. If it doesn’t understand a document for a certain customer, it’s also self learning so once you tell it the answer to the query, it won’t ask you again!
• Spindle Track and Trace – A brand new email delivery system dedicated to Spindle. Keeps the clutter out of Outlook and provides a clear audit trail of who sent the documents, to whom and when. The module will include a full scheduling function and it evens tells you if/when your customer opens the email.
• Credit Hound V6.0 – The next release of Credit Hound looks superb and gives the software a full facelift with all new Dashboards, Calendar and a brand new “to do” list. With a clear focus on improving the user experience, this new release is definitely going to be a hit with existing and new users alike.
