There are 3 tiers to the Sage 50 range, each one containing additional features and functionality:

  1. Accounts (Basic entry level software)
  2. Accounts Plus (Additional Stock functionality and Project Costing module)

Sage 50 Accounts

Sage 50 Accounts is the entry point into the Sage 50 accounting software range. Sage 50 Accounts Plus

Whether you need to manage project costs against budgets, control costs of manufactured or assembled products, or improve your stock management, Sage 50 Accountant Plus will help you stay in complete control.

Sage 50 Accounts Professional

Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2009 is a powerful business management system that does more than help you manage your day-to-day tasks, like VAT returns and year-end accounts. It gives you everything your business needs to work with all areas of your accounts. You’ll have complete sales and purchase order processing, alongside stock control, project management and foreign trading tools.

It also has the flexibility to handle up to 10 users and manage multiple companies (additional charges apply), giving you the information to drive your business forward.

Sage 50 Accounts is ideal for new and small businesses who are looking to expand or for SME businesses who do not have complicated reporting requirements. From single user sole traders, through to partnerships and multi-user organisations, the beauty of Sage 50 is that you can use as much or as little of the software’s features as is necessary. Sage 50 has its place within the Sage suite of applications and can be upgraded to from Sage Instant and can be upgraded from to Sage 200 as your business grows or your requirements change.
