Smith Cooper System Partners are delighted and immensely proud to announce that, for the second year in succession, we have been recognised by Sage as the Sage’s Midlands Region, Business Partner of the Year.
The award was presented to our Directors Richard Brewster & Chris Smith at Sage’s annual awards ceremony, held at Sage Gateshead in Newcastle, and again confirms Smith Cooper’s status as the most active and progressive Sage 200 provider in the Midlands region.
As previously, this award recognises Smith Cooper’s commitment to working closely with all levels and departments at Sage UK to help new and existing users of Sage 200 alike. It also recognises the fact that we have again provided more Sage 200 implementations than anyone else in the last year and confirms our status as a Sage partner that businesses feel they can trust and want to work with.
The calendar year 2016 has again been an immense period of success for Smith Cooper with the company achieving another significant increase in sales and new customer acquisition. However we also enjoy a 97% customer retention ratio with our key product, Sage 200, which is one of the best in the UK wide Sage 200 market. Many companies are very good at either new business or customer service, but successfully maintaining the balance between them both has been key to our success.
Since the appointment of new CEO Stephen Kelly, Sage PLC has entered into a period of fast paced, positive change at all levels. As an agile and progressive partner, Smith Cooper has embraced these changes and evolved with Sage, enabling us to enhance our already great relationship still further.
Commercial Director Chris Smith said “I was genuinely surprised when we won this award last year and really thought it would be tough to repeat the achievement again in 2016. The Midlands Region has traditionally been Sage’s strongest, full of excellent, experienced partners with much larger sales teams than ours. It’s also true that some of these companies came back very strongly after our win last year. However, I firmly believe that, once again, our agility, commitment to customer service and being “good guys to deal with” has again set us apart from our competitors.
