Sage 200 release schedule was traditionally based on one flagship annual release. However in the last few years, Sage has moved to a more regular trimester release schedule.

  • When Was Sage 200 Launched?

    Sage 200 was originally launched back in 2007 and was built on the founding principles of the original Sage Line 100 product. Since then the product has evolved massively in line with technological advances in software and has also built up a fantastic eco-system of trusted and established third party add-ons to supplement the core Sage offering. There are currently around 9000 Sage 200 sites in the UK and the software has an exciting roadmap.

  • Is Sage 200 an ERP system?

    Sage 200 is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution that brings together financials, Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence.  Whilst Sage is widely recognised as a best in class accounts package for the UK SME market, Sage 200 offers business solutions from core financials, to commercial Modules (Stock SOP, POP, Warehouse Barcoding etc) to full production control. For the Sales and Marketing Function, there is fully Integrated CRM and there are various more specific options for Construction Industry, EPOS and Web Based functions for remote users (Purchase Requisitions, Expenses, Timesheets etc).

  • What is Sage MAS 200?

    Sage MAS 200 is a legacy Sage mid market product that was supplied in the US market. It has now been rebranded as Sage 100 ERP Advanced and is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system for small and midsize businesses in the US marketplace. The solution is typically recommended to mid market companies in North America, very similar to the target market of the UK Based Sage 200 solution.

  • Is Sage 200 MTD compliant?

    Sage 200 is fully compliant with the new Making Tax Digital (MTD) legislation for both single and group entities. If you are on a legacy version of Sage 200 from prior to the advent of this legislation change, you may need to check with Smith Cooper with regard to upgrading your software version or purchasing a stand alone module.

  • How Much is a Sage 200 Licence?

    Sage 200 is now only available on a subscription basis. This can be either annually in advance or monthly. The actual price of your total solution is subjective to the combination of users and modules purchased. However, a standard user licence is £46 per month.
