Smith Cooper System Partners are proud to support the Derby Quad cultural institution.

As part of their 10th anniversary, the Quad launched their Next Steps Scheme, and we are proud to announce that we are the latest supporters of this scheme.

The QUAD is a charity focused on intercultural dialogue through supporting diverse audiences to engage, develop skills and contribute to contemporary culture.

Alongside their charity work, they are also an international centre for engagement in contemporary art and film. Their learning, education and participation programmes involve people and communities locally as well as worldwide in innovative arts programmes.

The Next Steps Scheme allows businesses to sponsor a step within the QUAD. Our sponsorship will provide valuable business support for the QUAD’s programme of activity and outreach work. Their programmes help transform the lives of young and old people, the disadvantaged and those in hard to reach communities.

As a Derby based business ourselves, it is important for us to support those within our business community. The QUAD is a key establishment within the heart of Derby, and one that has been hit hard by the pandemic. Therefore, this partnership is a brilliant way to keep our local arts and culture institutions alive ready for when we are able to visit again. We are looking forward to visiting the QUAD, our step and seeing what great work our sponsorship is helping to fund!

Our Managing Director, Chris Smith, said “We are extremely proud of our heritage in the Derby business community and are delighted to support amazing local facilities like the QUAD. It is vital to keep supporting the Arts so we can all enjoy them again when the pandemic is over and Smith Cooper System Partners are happy to play our part.”
