Counterpoint EPOS by Kudos Software
Following last year’s announcement from Sage that Sage POS will no longer be maintained or supported from 28th February 2015, Smith Cooper have partnered with Kudos software to offer their market leading Counterpoint EPOS solution for both Sage 50 & Sage 200.
We have already successfully migrated many of our legacy Sage POS clients to Counterpoint and they are reaping the benefits of the increased functionality of a current and developing EPOS solution.
Counterpoint EPOS can suit many different situations due to the ease and flexibility of the till functions and screens. For example retail, trade counter, hospitality, leisure etc
CounterPoint uses Sage product, customer and pricing records to provide a POS with immediate, seamless Sage integration. With a wide range of features, and running on desktop or mobile terminals CounterPoint EPOS delivers the flexibility modern retail demands with real-time integration with Sage 50 and Sage 200. The adaptable touch screen system gives focussed, easy to use functionality which melds with each customers’ individual styling. CounterPoint can be installed on either a Windows based touch screen till system or onto a PC acting as a till.

As CounterPoint EPOS integrates seamlessly with the Sage accounting suites there are a number of reasons why a user would use this application.
A typical example would be a retailer who requires bar coded product sales and may take many forms of payment (cash, card, etc) and needs to automate the updating of both Stock levels and cash book balances in Sage in real time.
